This release, I2P 2.8.0, improves I2P by fixing bugs, removing unused code, and improving network stability.
</p>
<p>
Further adjustments were made to how Java I2P routers handle severely congested routers to give them time to become un-congested.
Improvements were made to help address UPnP and NAT traversal issues.
Older leaseSets are now removed from the network database mitigate spam and improve performance.
Other changes were made to reduce the observability of events like a router rebooting or shutting down.
